Valentine Day Party Games and Activities for Kids
CANDYLAND Try using real candy as game pieces TIC TAC TOE Buy a heart stamp, lips, kiss stamp and red ink pad on drawing paper make the game board and love kiss away. FIND THE KEY TO MY HEART > Recycle keys you have. Use old baby toy
keys or cut out key shapes from card stock. Take permanent marker and
put money amounts on the keys. Example 1 cent equals one penny etc.
Hide keys like an Easter egg hunt. Kids hunt and find keys. Be able to
pay up. Article continues below. DECORATE SHIRTS OR HATS Use paint pens, heart sponges, stencils, paint brushes, with paint. Use iron on's, appliqués etc. Hint if using shirts and paints, put cardboard in between shirt. Leave until dry and don't saturate shirt. RENT AGE APPROPRIATE – "Love" movies. These days most kids movies have love story in them. For example Cinderella, Lady and the Tramp even Cars has a love interest involved. Make a new tradition for Valentines day. Go to movies to see a love movie. Cook Valentines dinner or breakfast together. Play charades only using age appropriate love movies. Or use people, toys, animals your child loves. Example the family dog or grandpa. You'll be surprised the imitations they do. Be patient. You and your children have different views of people. You may view Dad as working or watching sports and your child may act out Dad at the park or reading books. HOMEMADE VALENTINES PICTURES-Think outside the box. Don't purchase any items with a certain vision
in mind. Supply paper, or card stock, glue or hot glue, scissors and
tape. Use what you have: Ribbon, Beads, Paint, Stickers, Markers,
Crayons, Stamps, Flowers, and/or Real Candy. Glitter, confetti, tissue
paper, wrapping paper, fake jewels, googly eyes, fabric, bottle caps,
small toys etc..
