St. Patrick's Day Decoration and Tablescapes

St. Paddy's Day party Stop by your local party store and pick up table clothes, cups, plates, and cutlery in green, yellow/gold or a printed design. It's best to mix and match. Use green and or yellow/gold balloons and streamers. You don't need to have helium in all the balloons. Blow some up, leave loose on the floor. Tack some up on your walls. Put tack through balloon at the bottom right after the knot. More decorating ideas are below.

Use clover cut outs, beads or things around the house. Try tying big green bows on stuffed animals. Use ribbon to tie your utensils up in your napkins. Tie top hats with green bows or add shamrock stickers to things. Think green and "lucky".

Fill bowls with gold foil chocolate coins or spray paint gravel rocks gold and fill bowls to represent pots of gold. Set out horse shoes on tablescapes and yes gummy candy snakes or rubber snakes. After all St. Patrick did drive the snakes from the land.

Don't forget to decorate your food table. Try spray painting the outside of foil pans gold and using them to hold or serve hot or cold food.

Be different for example: my family and I are huge Green Bay Packers Fans, the team colors are forest green and school bus yellow, so we wear our Green Bay Football clothes and some of our larger stuffed animals wear Green Bay shirts and hats. Maybe you're Irish or love Notre Dame Football take that approach.
