Play Time Games and other Activities for Parties.
The number one rule when planning a game for a kid's party is keep in age appropriate. Frustration is not a welcome guest at any party and children become frustrated when they can't succeed at a game.
The second rule is make sure that every child will receive a prize. There's always a couple of kids who are just too shy or not coordinated enough to "win" a game. After you've scoped out who are the most active and motivated kids in the group, award prizes based on something other than being first. Perhaps the slowest child, most creative, carefulness, or determined are a few unusual categories. If you have to award prizes based on bluest eyes, best smile, prettiest dress, funniest laugh.
