Backwards April Fool's Party for KidsAsk everyone to wear their clothes backward, shirts, pants, shoes, and even hats. Do your menu backwards. Start with desert then sides, main dish and appetizers. Play games backwards. For board games “Start” at the Finish, whoever ends at start first wins. Try having a race with walking backwards. Do games like whoever can count or say the alphabet backwards wins a prize. On pieces of paper write a saying for each child like “yes please” or “no thank you” etc let the kids pick a simple saying randomly. The top two kids that say their saying backwards “please yes” or ‘thank you no” the most wins. To keep track have a list of their names and mark down each time they said their saying backwards. Article continues below. Do an activity backwards. This should be written down and an adult read it then help instruct the child backwards. For example: Go to the book shelf and get a book then go to the kitchen and get a napkin. Do all of this walking backwards.
