April Fool's Silly Tricks

spilled paint Paint trick: I have used acrylic or fabric pain. It would be best to use paint with only a ¼” of paint left. On wax paper pour paint as if the paint bottle fell over. Then empty the rest of the paint in the garbage let the paint dry completely on the wax paper then peel up. Also let the leftover film of paint dry in the paint bottle. Place on the carpet or sofa. This would be a fun project to have the kids make at the party. They could take it home to dry or give them their project in a couple days. Buy each child a small paint bottle. More tricks are below.

spilled nail polish Nail polish trick: Using the same Idea as above empty a nail polish bottle and buy paint matching that color. Put fake spiders around

Put lotion in the soap dispenser

If you have pull out sprayer on your sink rubber band the leaver down.

Lock doors not normally locked

Take the light bulbs out of lights.

Put dry ice in your toilet

Fill a room or closet with as many inflated balloons as you can.

Dribble cup – water only poke little holes toward the top with a needle or a safety pin

Stick silly notes on kid’s backs with Post-its

Buy fake fruit and offer to the kids. Apples work best

On plastic cups write the kids names on their drinks. Then switch their drink to water with a cup you previously wrote their name on and put back in the same place.

Spilled drink: paint the inside of a Styrofoam cup a drink color and using the same idea of paint on wax paper. You have a spilled drink. Add clear plastic aquarium rocks as ice.
